The next step after creating a showreel is to popularise my work and get that showreel seen. For this, I am making business cards and updating my LinkedIn account.
For my business cards, I wanted to make a design that represents my style and fits all my information in a minimalistic way. Also, it was very important for me that I could update the information on the business card at any time. That’s why I decided to add a QR code on my card which leads to my LinkTree account. That way I can update the links to my work and addresses at any time without the need to make a new business card!

For the Design, I chose to have the form containing my name and position; all with a UV raised detail so it gets a 3D feel touch to the flat printed background. For the back, the main focus is on the QR code with small information on the sides of my email and portfolio, in case the person is unable to use the QR code. The color palette is pastel with light details in terms of shapes and typography.
My LinkedIn account needed an update as I wanted to personalise it in a way that showcases mostly Animation and CG work and targets the 3D industry.

I know how important it is to network, so I have started to meet and communicate with people from the CG industry, it has been very inspiring to see the work of the people I connect with and to keep myself informed of the trends and news in the industry.
